Eddie: Basketball nut Edwina ‘Eddie’ Franklin is a die hard New York Knick fan. She knows everything about the team; players, coaches, statistics, and how they play. In last place, the Knick seem to be a hopeless team. One night at a game Eddie is picked from the crowd to shoot a free throw. If she makes it she can coach the team for one game. She makes the shot, and is living a dream come true. What happens next is even more incredible. The owner offers her the job for the rest of the season.

Clue: Stupid joke whodunit based on the trendy board game of the same name with all the recognizable characters Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Red, et al. assembled for a murderous day in a Victorian mansion. Everyone tries extremely hard bet there is nothing they can do to save this weak film. Cast includes Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Ponder, and Howard Hesseman. (87 minutes,’85)

Doug’s First Movie: The megastar of Television’s Doug is characterized in this bland, formulaic tale, made exclusively for kids. Easy going preteen Doug attempts to spare an animal in need clash with his wish to take his lady friend to the school dance. This movie was built as a direct-to-video production. There’s Something About Mary: Ted has had a crush on Mary since high school. A good friend convinces Ted to search Mary down. So Ted hires a private detective to locate Mary. This sets the stage for a fun comedy romance.
